Russian space sector exec promises 'interesting technical solutions'

MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's space rocket industry will come up with "very interesting technical solutions for the market" within the next few years, said the chief executive of Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center.

Several months ago, the Federal Space Agency approved a plan to enlarge the Angara carrier rocket family with a new heavy rocket, Angara 5B, "which would mean saving large amounts of funds on manufacturing and obtaining completely different technical characteristics," Andrei Kalinovsky said.
