Chance for peaceful settlement of Donbas conflict realistic - Lavrov

MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - There is a realistic chance to achieve success in settling the Ukraine crisis based on the Minsk agreements, and Russia will continue to direct its efforts toward this, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"There is a real chance today for a peaceful settlement based on the Minsk agreements," Lavrov said at a meeting with members of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in Moscow on Thursday.

"Russia will continue to do what it can to facilitate a search for ways out of this situation, including with its Normandy Quartet partners and other countries," he said.
