Deputies' initiative to brand Soros Foundation unwelcome not coordinated with Kremlin - Peskov

MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - The proposal of Communist Party deputies to add the Soros Foundation to the list of unwelcome organizations was not coordinated with the Kremlin, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has said.

"Deputies are entitled to make initiatives, and it is absolutely not required to preliminarily coordinate this or that initiative with the Presidential Administration or the president," Peskov told reporters.

He gave a negative answer to the question as to whether that initiative had been coordinated with the Kremlin.
