Karasin plans to talk on telephone with Nuland, meeting not expected
MOSCOW. July 15 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said he planned to hold telephone talks with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland on Ukrainian settlement by late July, a meeting between the diplomats is not expected.
"The agreement on a telephone conversation has been reached and we will determine a date depending on situation development," Karasin told Interfax when asked about new contact with Nuland.
"A face-to-face meeting is unlikely to take place," he said.
