Net profit of RusHydro to IFRS falls 13% in H1 to 18.6 bln rubles
MOSCOW. Aug 28 (Interfax) - The net profit of PJSC RusHydro to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) fell 13% year-on-year in H1 2015 to 18.6 billion rubles, the company said in a report.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 16.8% to 34.4 billion rubles.
The company's reported EBITDA was better than Interfax's consensus forecast, analysts expected this figure at 33.1 billion rubles.
Company revenue excluding state subsidies increased 3.3% to 170.8 billion rubles. Operational expenses were up 10.4% year-on-year to 154.6 billion rubles.
Long term loan funds were 108.9 billion rubles as of June 30 against 119.2 billion rubles at the end of 2014. Short-term loan funds and short-term portions of long-term borrowing for the period grew 83.1 billion rubles from 57.8 billion rubles.
The RusHydro group is an energy holding that manages hydro-electric power plants in Russia. The installed capacity of the group's stations is more than 38 GW including the electric power of Energy Systems of East and the Boguchan hydro electric station. The main shareholder is the state.
