Kazakh, Chinese leaders sign declaration on new stage of bilateral strategic partnership relations
ASTANA. Aug 31 (Interfax) - A joint declaration by the heads of state of Kazakhstan and China on a new stage of relations for a comprehensive strategic partnership was signed in Beijing during Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to China.
The framework agreement on the strengthening of cooperation in the sphere of industrialization and investment was also signed between the governments of the two countries during the visit, the Kazakh presidential press service said on Monday.
Meanwhile, several Kazakh companies have signed the agreements on investment cooperation with China. In particular, the Kazakh Baiterek national managing holding has signed an accord with the Chinese CITIC Group state-run investment corporation on joint participation in the Kazakhstan Infrastructure Fund.
The framework loan agreement was signed between the Masala grinding plant and the Chinese Export-Import Bank, the framework agreement was also signed between the Eurasian Resources Group Corporation and the Chinese State Development Bank, the press service said.
The memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation in establishing a special investment fund for the projects of industrial innovative cooperation was signed by the KAZNEX INVEST national agency for export and investment and the Chinese Silk Road Foundation.
Meanwhile, the memorandum on cooperation between the Kazakh EXPO-2017 national company and the Chinese international tourism bureau, as well as the intergovernmental agreement on humanitarian cooperation were signed, the press service said.
