Kemerovo Region Governor Tuleyev reelected with 96.69% of vote

KEMEROVO. Sept 14 (Interfax) - The Kemerovo Region Elections Commission has counted all votes in the gubernatorial elections - acting Region Governor Aman Tuleyev won a landslide victory, a representative of the Kemerovo Region Elections Commission told Interfax.

"Aman Tuleyev gained 96.69% of the vote after 100% of votes had been counted. Liberal Democratic Party candidate Alexei Didenko scored second, with 1.78% of the vote," he said.

The other three candidates - Viktor Shalamanov (the Russian Communist Party), Yuri Skvortsov (Patriots of Russia) and Vladimir Volchek (A Just Russia) gained less than 1% of the vote, 0.52%, 0.31% and 0.37% respectively.
