DPR says about two violations of 'silence regime' by Ukrainian side over past day
DONETSK. Oct 8 (Interfax) - The militia positions in Donetsk have been shelled by the Ukrainian military twice over the past day, senior official of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin told reporters on Thursday.
"Over the past day two breaches of the ceasefire regime by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have been reported over the past day. The Volvo-center district in Donetsk was shelled from the settlement of Peski," Basurin said.
He also said that the DPR reconnaissance spotted the movement of the enemy's personnel.
"In the area of Dzerzhinsk, some five kilometers away from the contact line, the arrival of two battalions of personnel from the volunteer Ukrainian corps of the Right Sector [an organization banned in Russia] was detected, the arrival of two battalions was noticed in Klynove. Over the past two days Ukrainian servicemen sided with the DPR in the area of Naberezhne," Basurin said.
