Counter-terrorist operation regime lifted in parts of Ingushetia

MAGAS. Oct 13 (Interfax) - The counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime introduced in the town of Karabulak and five populated areas in Ingushetia's Nazran District a day ago has been lifted, a spokesperson for the Ingushetia office of the Federal Security Service (FSB) told Interfax on Tuesday.

"The decision to lift the CTO was taken by the head of the operational headquarters at 5 p.m. Moscow time," the spokesperson said.

Three militants were killed in clashes with security forces during the CTO yesterday, he said.
