Russian deputy foreign minister, U.S. diplomat confer on non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction

MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov met with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller in New York on Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

"A number of important issues related to arms control and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and specific aspects of interaction in the nuclear 'five' format were discussed," the ministry said.
