Russia and France agree to step up counter-terrorist efforts - Putin
MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Russia and France have agreed to intensify their efforts in the fight against terrorism, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.
"Russia and France know what the spirit of alliance means because this has already happened more than once in our history. Today we have agreed to step up our work in the anti-terrorist sphere," Putin told a press conference after talks with French President Francois Hollande.
Moscow and Paris agreed to "bolster up-to-the-minute information sharing as part of the fight against terrorism and promote constructive work between our military specialists in order to avoid any overlapping and incidents," the Russian leader said.
