MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - At least four persons were hurt in a household gas explosion in an apartment building in Volgograd.

"The first four victims have been taken to a local emergency hospital," a source has said.

According to another source, claps are audible in the damaged house section as gas continues to explode. Experts think that specialists might have failed to shut down the gas mains in time.
