UAZ stops assembly for one month due to New Year holidays and modernization plans

ULYANKOVSK. Dec 31 (Interfax) - Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ, part of the Sollers group), is suspending production of vehicles in connection with company vacation and the modernization of its production site from December 31, 2015 until February 1, 2016, the company's press service told Interfax.

"The last day that vehicle assembly was carried out was on Wednesday, December 30, this year. Starting February 1, 2016, UAZ will start working normally," the company told Interfax.
