Counter-terror operation restrictions lifted in three districts of Dagestan
MAKHACHKALA. Jan 24 (Interfax) - Counter-terrorism operation restrictions have been lifted in three districts in the south of Dagestan in Russia's North Caucasus, the operation headquarters said in a press release on Sunday.
"At 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, the counter-terrorism operation regime was cancelled in the Tabasaran and Suleiman-Stalsky districts, as well as certain parts of the Khiv district," it said.
A counter-terrorism operation was launched in the Tabasaran district on January 21, while in the Suleiman-Stalsky district and within the administrative borders of the Khiv district on December 30, 2015.
