Moscow to host meeting of foreign ministers of Russia, Arab League countries in late Feb - Lavrov

Abu Dhabi. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has announced that the ministerial meeting between Russia and the Arab League countries is set to be held in late February in Moscow.

"We have agreed to continue the dialogue between Russia and United Arab Emirates. There are two main formats of this dialogue, including one at the ministerial level. We expect our friends from the region at the meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia and the countries of the Arab League in Moscow in late February," he said following his visit to UAE.

According to Lavrov, "Russia will also host the strategic dialogue meeting between Russia and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in the oncoming spring".
