Europe needs to unite efforts to resolve regional conflicts to improve situation with migrants - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax) - Russia believes that the situation with the influx into Europe of refugees from the Middle East and Northern Africa can be improved by settling conflicts in this region and fighting international terrorism.

"We believe this situation can be improved primarily by intensifying and coordinating international efforts for the purpose of finding political solutions to the continuing conflicts in the Middle East and Northern Africa and countering international terrorism, which we consistently call for on all sites," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said in her response to a media inquiry.
