Iranian defense minister plans to attend Moscow International Security Conference in April
MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan plans to take part in the 5th Moscow International Security Conference in April and have bilateral meetings with his Russian and Chinese counterparts on its sidelines, Dehghan said on Tuesday.
"I will be making efforts to take part in this conference. I am interested also in having bilateral meetings between Iran, Russia, and also the People's Republic of China on the sidelines of this conference," Dehghan said at a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Army Gen. Sergei Shoigu on Tuesday.
Dehghan thanked Shoigu for inviting him to the 5th Moscow International Security Conference, which is scheduled for April 27-28.
