Poroshenko insists Kyiv complying with Minsk Agreements
KYIV. March 17 (Interfax) - Ukraine has been complying with the Minsk Agreements on settling the armed conflict in Donbas, says Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
"We discussed the situation in the eastern part of the country and Crimea's annexation. We have full understanding of what needs to be done. I insist that Ukraine has been complying with the Minsk Agreements, and we are doing all we can for peace to settle, we are open to cooperation with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, and we are prepared to implement political steps, including legislation on elections," Poroshenko said in Brussels on Thursday following negotiations with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and European Council President Donald Tusk.
"Russia is not doing anything of the sort," he added.
