Skolkovo residents raise 1.3 bln rubles of investment in 2015

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Resident companies of the Skolkovo Foundation raised a total of 1.3 billion rubles of investment in 2015, the foundation said in a statement.

"In 2015, accredited investors carried out 25 deals with foundation participants," Skolkovo CEO Andrei Burenin was quoted as saying in the statement.

Skolkovo told Interfax that, according to preliminary figures, foundation residents had raised 11.2 billion rubles of investment in the period from when it started operations in 2010 to the end of 2015, or 93% of the amounted targeted by Skolkovo's key performance indicators.

In addition, more than 400 Skolkovo residents received grants totalling 1.7 billion rubles from the foundation last year, including about 400 million rubles in micro grants of up to 1.5 million rubles.

Skolkovo residents are expected to post cumulative revenue of about 53 billion rubles as of the end of 2015, compared to the targeted 43 billion rubles.
