UBS, Credit Suisse ready to consult on Russian privatization deals
MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - UBS and Credit Suisse have said they are prepared to consult on privatization deals in Russia, after receiving requests for proposals, said a report by Reuters, confirmed for Interfax by a source familiar with the selection procedure for consultants.
The Economic Development Ministry is not commenting on the information.
The ministry sent out the invitations to investment banks earlier this month. The government list includes Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, RBS, BNP Paribas, UBS, Citi, UniCredit, Societe Generale, BofA-ML, Raiffeisen, Sberbank CIB, VTB Capital , VEB Capital, Gazprombank , Renaissance Broker, Alfa Bank , MDM Bank and Russian Auction House.
