Azerbaijani, Iranian, Russian foreign ministers discuss preparations for summit - Lavrov

BAKU. April 7 (Interfax) - The foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan, who met in Baku on Thursday, discussed prospects for preparing a meeting between the three countries' leaders, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"This initiative stems from the agreements between the three presidents, who have displayed their interest in arranging such a tripartite format, including a top-level meeting. As the first step, we were instructed to discuss prospects in this area," Lavrov said at a press conference with the Azerbaijani and Iranian foreign ministers in Baku.
