Gas production in Russia in 2016 may grow to 637-638 bcm - Novak
MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - The production of gas in Russia may grow to 637-638 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2016, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.
"If last year gas production was 633 bcm, then this year gas production may reach 637-638 bcm," he said.
Growth will come from exports. Chances are that domestic consumption will stay at the same level as last year. "Growth will come from exports. Gas consumption on the domestic market will remain unchanged," the minister said.
