Yerevan trying to engage Baku in hostilities in Karabakh - Azerbaijani Defense Ministry
BAKU. April 27 (Interfax) - Armenia is trying to engage Azerbaijan in hostilities in the Karabakh conflict zone, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has said.
"The Armenian Armed Forces continue to violate ceasefire agreements. The Armenian side is trying to engage Azerbaijan in hostilities by staging provocations on the frontline. The Armenian administration is responsible for the escalation of the conflict," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement released in Baku.
The Armenian army is shelling Azerbaijani populated localities along the frontline, it said. "The Armenian side has been using weapons prohibited by international conventions," the statement said.
