Terrorists' nests in Sinai eliminated - Egypt's deputy defense minister

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - Egyptian Deputy Defense Minister Mohamed Elkeshki has expressed hope that tourism cooperation between Russia and Egypt will be restored soon.

"I believe that tourism cooperation between Russia and Egypt will restore its levels," he told the 5th Moscow Conference on International Security.

Egypt's army is now vigorously combating international terrorist groups in the country, he said.

"We have eliminated terrorists' nests in Sinai," the deputy defense minister said, adding that, today the Egyptian army is primarily defending crucial facilities, including military ones.
