Man suspected of killing motorcyclists in Moscow region admits guilt - Investigative Committee
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - A resident of the Yegoryevsk district of the Moscow region, who was detained on suspicion of killing five motorcyclists, has admitted his guilt, the Investigative Committee's directorate for the Moscow region told Interfax.
"The suspect was detained near the building where he lived. He has now been questioned by investigators as a suspect. He admitted his guilt and gave all circumstances of what occurred," the source said.
According to earlier reports, five men who had arrived on motorcycles in the village of Chelokhovo, Yegoryevsk district, and a 27-year-old local resident had a conflict around 6:00 a.m. on May 8, 2016. As a result, the man fired a series of shots with a hunting rifle Saiga. The five men died of the wounds at the scene. The accident was witnessed by two women who were accompanying the motorcyclists. The suspect left after committing the crime.
The criminal case was sent to the first directorate for investigations into especially important cases of the Investigative Committee's Main Investigations Department for the Moscow region.
