Kadyrov discusses issues of investments, anti-terrorism, with representatives of several countries

GROZNY. May 25 (Interfax) - Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic, held several bilateral meetings with the heads of the delegations participating in the International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues in Grozny.

"The sides had a constructive dialogue. The issues regarding the experience of Russia, and the authorities of the Chechen Republic in counter-terrorism, were on the agenda of meetings. Moreover, the sides discussed the economic cooperation and possible investment projects," Alvi Karimov, the Chechen presidential spokesman told Interfax.

In particular, Kadyrov held meetings with the head of Azerbaijani presidential administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, the head of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Meng Jianzhu, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, the head of the Nicaraguan Interior Ministry Roger Ramirez, the head of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance of Morocco Abdellatif Hammouchi and Mongolia's National Security Council Secretary Tsagaandari Enkhtuvshin, Karimov said.

"During the bilateral meetings, the representatives of Azerbaijan, People's Republic of China, Morocco, Mongolia and Nicaragua invited the head of the Chechen Republic to visit their countries," Karimov said.

The head of the Chinese delegation suggested the exchange of delegations' official visits for the purpose of discussion of various investment projects.

The International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues under the aegis of Russian Security Council, takes place in Grozny, on May 24-25. The Russian delegation at the meeting is headed by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.
