Geneva talks on Syria to resume no sooner than in two or three weeks - de Mistura's office
BRUSSELS. May 26 (Interfax) - The next round of talks on Syria will be held no sooner than in two or three weeks, according to a press statement released by the office of UN Special Envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura on Thursday.
De Mistura reiterated the need for visible progress on the local level, especially with regard to the cessation of hostilities and provision of humanitarian access, according to the statement.
The special envoy will maintain close and continuous contact with the Syrian sides, as well as members of the International Syria Support Group until he sets the suitable time for gathering the delegations in Geneva again, de Mistura's office said.
