Russia to show off 60 military products at Kazakhstan arms exhibition
MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax-AVN) - Over 300 companies from 28 countries will take part at the KADEX-2016 weapons systems and military equipment exhibition in Kazakhstan, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation said.
"The largest expositions will be formed by Kazakhstan (103 companies) and Russia (85 companies)," the agency said in a statement obtained by Interfax-AVN on Friday.
The Russian delegation will be represented by eleven defense companies, including Rosoboronexport, UralVagonZavod, Almaz-Antey, Russian Helicopters, Takticheskoye Raketnoye Vooruzheniye (Tactical Missile Armament) and others.
The exposition will display over 60 military products, including the Yakovlev Yak-130 military trainer aircraft, Mil Mi-35M transport-combat helicopter, Mi-17V-5 military-transport helicopter, an upgraded T-72 tank, the Kamaz-63501 heavy utility truck of the Tor-M2KM surface-to-air missile system, and a Mustang light-armored reconnaissance vehicle.
