Doping scandal will not affect 2018 FIFA world cup - Infantino
MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - The President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, said he is satisfied with how Russia is fighting doping in sport.
"The doping scandal will not affect in any way either the world cup or Russia's reputation. Russia's work of fighting doping is being carried out in the right direction," he told reporters in Moscow on Wednesday.
The 2018 FIFA world cup will be held in eleven Russian cities, from June 14 to July 15.
