Otkritie Holding acquires 9.9% of National Rating Agency

MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - Otkritie Holding has acquired a 9.9% stake in LLC National Rating Agency (NRA), the financial services group said in a statement.

Otkritie told Interfax that the company became a shareholder of NRA in the process of a charter capital increase through the admission of new members, but did not disclose the price of the deal. NRA's website does not currently provide any information about a charter capital increase.

Otkritie Holding owns a 3.7% stake in another rating agency, the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA). An Otkritie spokesman said that the stakes in the agencies are not large, so there is not conflict of interest.

NRA head Viktor Chetverikov told Interfax that information about the increase in charter capital will be published at the beginning of next week. He did not disclose the scale of the increase or name the new investors. "Capital will be somewhat more than 50 million rubles," he said.
