Armenian, Karabakh defense ministers visit front line of contact

STEPANAKERT. June 6 (Interfax) - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan has visited the northeastern part of the contact line, accompanied by Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army Commander and Defense Minister Levon Mnatsakanyan, an Interfax correspondent said.

Ohanyan is in the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) as part of the armed forces' cooperation program.

The two ministers visited the advance military positions on the Matagis-Talysh site which was the target of the main Azeri strike during the April military escalation in the Karabakh conflict zone.

The ministers also watched some engineering work in progress.

Ohanyan and Mnatsakyan visited the front positions on various parts of the contact line, heard the commandants' reports and set out working tasks for cooperation.
