Deficit of mutual trust remains in Russia-NATO relations - Peskov

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - A shortage of mutual trust remains between Russia and NATO, the Kremlin said.

"Regrettably, at this point it is still possible to speak about a deficit of mutual trust [in relations between Russia and NATO]," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

"Dialogue is underway at the level of ambassadors," he said.

"But it is unlikely that it is bringing us closer to greater understanding," Peskov said.
