Putin comes to Minsk to negotiate with Lukashenko, take part in forum of Russia's, Belarus's regions
MINSK. June 8 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Minsk on Wednesday to take part in the 3rd forum of Russia's and Belarus's regions together with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
The forum deals with socioeconomic policy in the Belarus-Russia Union.
Before the forum's plenary session, Putin and Lukashenko will converse first in a narrow format, after which the negotiations will continue between the delegations.
Russia and Belarus are also expected to sign a number of bilateral agreements during Putin's visit to Minsk.
