One of Kazakhstan's Aktobe terrorists who resisted arrest injured but alive - source

AKTOBE. June 10 (Interfax) - One of the wanted terrorists, Dmitry Tanatarov, was injured and hospitalized in Aktobe, the administrative district of Kazakhstan's Aktobe region, on Friday, a source from the regional law enforcement authorities told Interfax.

"Tanatarov is alive; he is staying at a hospital," he said.

Tanatarov, 27, was one of the persons wanted for the Aktobe terror attacks. The regional police press service issued a description of him and another six men.

A group of religious radicals attacked two weapons stores and a military unit on June 5. Seven people were killed, including three servicemen and four civilians.

Also, 13 criminals were killed, nine were apprehended and six were put on the wanted list. The Kazakh security services said on Friday that another five extremists resisted arrest and were killed.
