French authorities have not informed Russian side of any complaints about Russian fans - embassy
MOSCOW/PARIS. June 14 (Interfax) - The French authorities have not informed the Russian side of any complaints about the group of Russian football fans heading to Lille by bus, the Russian Embassy in Paris said on Tuesday.
"There have been no complaints," the embassy's public relations officer Sergei Parinov told Interfax.
"I am not aware what they are accused of, and what they have been charged with," Parinov said.
Earlier on Tuesday, Russian Fans Association head Alexander Shprygin said that the French police have blocked a bus carrying Russian football fans on the way to Lille.
Later he said that the bus with the Russian football fans was detained. The fans will be deported from France, he said.
The national teams of Russia and Slovakia will play a match as part of UEFA Euro-2016 in Lille on June 15.
