SCO leaders approve signing of memorandums on obligations for India and Pakistan to join SCO

TASHKENT. June 24 (Interfax) - The presidents of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states have approved the signing of memorandums on obligations that India and Pakistan should assume in order to join this organization.

The SCO leaders signed the Decision on signing the Memorandum on India's obligations to become a SCO member, an Interfax correspondent reported. A similar document was signed with regard to Pakistan.
