DPR reports wounding of civilian in night attack on Zaitseve by Ukrainian troops
DONETSK. Aug 3 (Interfax) - One civilian was wounded, one residential building was burned, and another two buildings were damaged in the attack carried out by Ukrainian troops on the settlement of Zaitseve last night, the city administration said.
"The attack on Zaitseve began at 8:00 p.m. yesterday and ended around 2:00 a.m. A 32-year-old man was wounded," Ivan Prikhodko, acting head of the city administration, said, according to the Donetsk News Agency.
The residential building in the settlement burned down as a result of a mine explosion in a private homestead. The owner of the building was not hurt. Another two buildings were damaged in the night attack, the report says.
Some 900 buildings were left without light in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk as a result of the damage done to transformer substations.
"The attack carried out by the Ukrainian troops last night caused a power outage in six transformer substations. A total of 886 buildings, including apartment buildings, are without power, the boiler house and the dentist's office are without power as well," the Donetsk News Agency quoted Maxim Zhukovsky, the head of the district administration, as saying.
No one was killed in the night attack, the report said.
