Russian Foreign Ministry recommends that Russians not leave their places of stay in Thailand without need, avoid crowded places
MOSCOW. Aug 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry advises Russians who are in Thailand not to leave their places of residence unless they have to and to avoid crowded places in connection with the series of explosions that have occurred in the country.
"The Russian Foreign Ministry recommends that Russians who are in the territory of Thailand not leave their places of stay without special need, exercise maximum caution, avoid crowded places and closely fulfill the authorities' demands," the ministry said in a report posted on its website.
The Foreign Ministry said no Russians were hurt in the explosions.
"Groups of investigators of the Thai police are working at the explosion sites. Measures are being taken to diffuse several unexploded bombs," the ministry said.
