Russian-Slovak intergovernmental commission to meet in early 2017 - Slovak PM
MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - A session of the Russian-Slovak intergovernmental commission will be held at the start of 2017, Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I think that we need to more effectively use an institute such as our intergovernmental commission. I think that our next meeting within the framework of the intergovernmental commission [will take place] at the start of 2017," he said.
Fico also said that he would like to discuss with Putin a number of topics, including energy projects, sports, education and culture.
"I would like to stress once again that we are glad to see you and will be pleased to discuss all of these issues," the Russian president said.
