Azerbaijan, Karabakh continue exchanging accusations of ceasefire breaches

BAKU/STEPANAKERT. Aug 29 (Interfax) - The Armenian military breached the ceasefire regime on the contact line 22 times in the past 24 hours, the press service for the Azeri Defense Ministry said.

The shots were fired both from the territory of Armenia and "the occupied territories of Azerbaijan," the ministry said.

The press service for the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, for its part, told Interfax that "the Azeri side breached the ceasefire regime over 55 times, firing over 600 shots in the direction of positions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic's Defense Army using firearms of various caliber."
