Russian gasoline prices unchanged for third straight week - Rosstat
MOSCOW. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Consumer prices for gasoline in Russia were unchanged in the week of August 23-29, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.
It is the third straight week of no change, after gasoline prices rose 0.1% in each of the three weeks before that. Gasoline prices have risen 3.5% since the beginning of the year.
Diesel fuel prices declined 0.1% in the latest week after holding steady in the two previous weeks. Diesel prices have risen 0.1% in the year so far.
Gasoline price increases were recorded in 17 regional centers across Russia last week.
Gasoline prices were unchanged in Moscow last week and up 0.1% in St. Petersburg.
Gasoline production rose 0.6% to 828,900 tonnes in August 22-28 compared with the previous week. Diesel production was up 5.2% to 1.537 million tonnes.
