Russian consolidated budget deficit at 851.3 bln rubles in Jan-July 2016 - Treasury

MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Russia had a consolidated budget deficit of 851.3 billion rubles in January-July 2016, according to materials published on the Federal Treasury website.

Consolidated budget revenue for the first seven months of 2016 totaled 14.933 trillion rubles, while spending totaled 15.784 trillion rubles.

The Treasury said Russia's federal budget deficit was 1.442 trillion rubles - according to preliminary estimates by the Finance Ministry, it was 1.521 trillion rubles, or 3.3% of GDP - with revenue of 6.97 trillion rubles and spending at 8.412 trillion rubles.

Russia's constituent members or regions had a consolidated budget surplus of 418.8 billion rubles in the first seven months of this year, with revenue of 5.548 trillion rubles and spending at 5.129 trillion rubles.

Budget revenue from extra-budgetary funds was 5.52 trillion rubles, the expenditure of those funds - 5.407 trillion rubles and their surplus - 113.4 billion rubles.

The territorial extra-budgetary funds had a surplus of 58.5 billion rubles, with revenue of 929.6 billion rubles and spending of 871.1 billion rubles.
