Kazakh govt to be formed today or tomorrow - Nazarbayev
ASTANA. Sept 9 (Interfax) - A new Kazakh government will be formed within days, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
"A new government will be appointed today or tomorrow and will get down to business," the president said at the end of an expanded government meeting in Astana on Friday.
Nazarbayev wished "good health and fruitful joint work for the benefit of the people of Kazakhstan" to the meeting participants.
The president relieved Prime Minister Karim Masimov of his duties and appointed him National Security Committee head on Thursday. First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev was appointed acting Prime Minister.
