Russian authorities spent about 3.3 trln rubles to support, clean up banks in 2013-2015
MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - The Russian authorities spent about 3.3 trillion rubles to support and clear up the banking sector in 2013-2015, Fitch said in a report.
The figure does not include liquidity support to the banking sector.
The volume of support provided in 2013-2015 includes 830 billion rubles in capital from the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA), 880 billion rubles from other state structures (mainly the NWF), 900 billion rubles in sanation loans and 750 billion rubles in payments to depositors at banks whose licenses are revoked.
