Lavrov meets with Lebanese PM on sidelines of UN General Assembly
NEW YORK. Sept 21 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam are having a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
It is expected that the counterparts will specifically address the Syrian topics and the situation in the entire region.
"We know that you are much preoccupied and we are very happy that there is an opportunity to discuss important matters," Salam said at the onset of the meeting.
