LPR to sign agreement on separation of forces - Plotnitsky
LUHANSK. Sept 22 (Interfax) - Igor Plotnitsky, head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), said he will sign a document on the separation of forces in Donbas "in the very near future."
"I have not signed these documents [on the separation of forces] yet, I know that I will sign them in the very near future," Plotnitsky told reporters on Thursday.
He said the LPR "currently has two zones [for the separation of forces] and Donetsk has one." "We will see how it will be implemented in the near future. The plan is good, we are ready to implement it, we are ready for such development of events," Plotnitsky said.
"I would like to believe that the time has now come when everyone is tired of this uncertainty and Ukraine finally has some common sense under pressure and we will really begin the separation of forces," he said.
