Russia, Bangladesh agree on visa-free travel regime for official passport holders
NEW YORK (UN). Sept 23 (Interfax) - Russia and Bangladesh have signed an intergovernmental agreement introducing a visa-free travel regime for holders of official and diplomatic passports.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Bangladeshi counterpart Abul Hassan Mahmood are the signatories to the document.
"This will boost private business contacts," Lavrov said after the signing ceremony.
The ministers met in New York, on the sidelines of general political debates of the UN General Assembly.
