Tatneft boosts oil production 4.9% in 9M
KAZAN. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Tatneft produced 20.851 million tonnes of oil in Tatarstan in January-September 2016, 4.9% more than in the same period last year, the company said in a press release.
In addition, Tatneft subsidiaries produced 259,000 tonnes of oil outside Tatarstan in 9M, 10.5% more year-on-year.
The entire Tatneft group produced 21.11 million tonnes in January-September, 4.9% more.
The total includes 541,800 tonnes of high-viscosity crude oil, 50% more.
Tatneft completed 470 wells in the period, including 330 production wells, four exploration wells and 136 wells to extract bitumen.
Taneco refined 6.524 million tonnes of crude oil in the eight months (including 710,800 tonnes in September), which, together with other feedstock, produced 6.855 million tonnes of oil products (736,600 tonnes).
