Militants undermine disengagement process in Stanytsia Luhanska - Ukraine's representative in Contact Group

KYIV. Oct 11 (Interfax) - The Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE SMM) should monitor the disengagement process in Donbas round the clock, the Ukrainian representative in the Contact Group on Donbas said during its videoconference on Tuesday.

"The Ukrainian side firmly raised the issue of the framework resolution on disengagement being undermined by the Separate Districts of the Luhansk region, in particular, near Stanytsia Luhanska, and failure by the Separate Districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions to observe ceasefire and honor their obligations under the Minsk agreements," Darka Olifer, a spokesperson for Leonid Kuchma, Ukraine's second president and representative in the Group, wrote on Facebook on Tuesday evening.

Kyiv also insisted that the OSCE SMM should organize round-the-clock monitoring of the situation in the disengagement areas.

"We insist on continuous monitoring in the disengagement areas by OSCE SMM monitors," Olifer wrote.
