Lukoil CEO, Austrian Chancellor discuss investment cooperation
MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern hosted Lukoil CEO Vagit Alekperov in Vienna on Friday, the Russian oil company said in a statement.
The two sides discussed the company's efforts to "develop, produce and distribute quality oil lubricants, as well as investment cooperation," it said.
Lukoil owns a plant in Austria for the production of motor and industrial lubricants. Its production capacity is up to 80,000 tonnes of products per year. The plant has a VDA 6.3 premium quality certification according to the standards of the German Association of the Automotive Industry, which has allowed it to become one of the top five European suppliers for German automobile concerns.
In 2016 Lukoil finished the construction of a terminal for the transhipment and storage of lubricants in Vienna, including a tank farm and pier complex for tank supplies of base oils.
